Research and Interests

Having begun my career in mental health as a forensic counsellor working with young offenders, I have a special interest in interventions for youth put at risk. My current clinical and research interests include neuropsychological assessment and interventions for these youth, and individuals with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). I am involved in projects that evaluate the unique neuropsychological profile of children and adolescents with FASD as well as evaluating appropriate interventions for this unique population.

My training and clinical experience includes clinical neuropsychology and the practice of school and clinical child psychology. A registered psychologist, I also maintain a private practice in which I focus on assessment that informs intervention activities.

Professional Affiliations

Currently, my professional affiliations include: College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP); Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA); Canadian Psychological Association (CPA); National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN); Research Society in Alcoholism.
